Raazi Title track: Arjit Singh’s Voice adds music to Alia Bhatt’s transformation from a regular girl to a honed spy- Watch Video
Raazi is releasing this Friday. The makers, today, released a new song from the film which charts the journey of Alia Bhatt aka Sehmat going from a girl next door to a deadly spy. Arjit Singh voice does the trick here as he makes it both soothing and haunting at the same time. You can only expect that of him. The visuals aren’t any different from what we saw in the trailer but the lyrics and composition make it pretty edgy. Raazi is one of film we are eager to watch and this song has only piqued our excitement.
Based on Harinder Sikka’s novel, calling Sehmat, Raazi is about a young woman, who is married off to a Pakistani army officer by her father, so that she can spy on them. The woman puts her life on the line to pass intel and save india from many brutal mishaps. From the trailer, it is obvious that the film will be pretty compelling. What gets to you is that the film is based on a real life character. God we are getting goosebumps already! Check out the title track of the film right here below.
The making video of Alia learning Morse code did make us believe that she had to do a lot of slip into the role. She had to learn the complex codes and even learn how to drive a jonga, a vehicle that used during those days. Raazi is set in 1971, when india and Pakistan were at war. Alia also had to learn a lot of fighting techniques.
