Veere Di Wedding Trailer Preview: A Movie about Friendship and Not About Your ‘Veere’ Aka ‘Brother’

Before the trailer release of the much awaited movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which stars Kareen Kapoor, Swara BHaskar, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas in the lead role, the confusing title Veere actually made us wonder about the actual role of Sumeet Vyas in the film.



For the uninitiated ‘Veere’ means big brother in Punjabi dialect and the confusing title led us to believe that the wedding bells are usually are surely ringing for the brother in the upcoming movie. With this movie, Kareena Kapoor has finally returned to silver screen after she became a mother of the cutie little bundle of happiness named Taimur.

This movie focuses on four friends enacted by the four actresses and how they combat their ongoing issued that crept up in their daily lives. After the trailer release, the audience now knows that Summet Vyas is enacting the role of boyfriend cum fiancé to Kareen Kapoor’s character and how Kareena deals with it, although she doesn’t feel ready to accept this new relationship yet.

Except Sonam Kapoor, the other ladies in the house are bogged down by the issues surrounding marriage. Shikha married her husband against her family wishes and now is struggling with a baby and isn’t happy with the current arrangement with the husband because she fails to feel the love. Swara is about to give her husband a divorce because of his arrogant attitude. Kareeena has a loving boyfriend, but she is not ready to get married yet and in the process she breaks her marriage with Sumeet.

In the midst of this, the four friends have to stand the test of friendship to prolong the beautiful bond they share. Will Kareena get married? Will Swara get divorced? Will Sonam patch up with her boyfriend? Too many questions have crept in our mind since the latest release of the trailer.
